"reckless living with a twist!"

About the Blog

This blog is dedicated to challenging Christians to become Prodigal BelieversMerriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines prodigal as a “reckless spendthrift”.  A Prodigal Believer is one who is “reckless” in his or her’s approach to reaching people for Christ.  A Prodigal Believer is also one who chooses to be a “spendthrift” spending his or her life in service to Christ until nothing is left.  Being a Prodigal Believer is not a vocational calling for a few but a ministry calling for all.  My desire and prayer is that those who read this blog are encouraged, strengthened, and charged up to live the life the Lord has called them to live.  “What no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT)

In order to avoid information overload and to give the reader time to reflect upon what the Lord may be saying to him or her, the blog is a weekly posting.  A new posting and the reckless thought for the week will be uploaded every Thursday around midnight.  The purpose of posting a new blog at the end of the week is done to help prepare people’s hearts for worship on Sunday.
